Siemens Pre-engineered Modularized CHP Power Plants

Siemens Power Generation (PG) has launched a modularized small GHP plant based on the SGT-300 industrial gas turbine. The plant, called SSC-300, delivers 7.5 MW of electrical power output and 19 tons/h of steam with a fuel utilization factor of more than 80%. What is new is the pre-engineering concept that has introduced a high degree of standardization. This pre-engineered, standardized approach leads to a higher reliability and quality level of the plant compared with customized solutions, according to the company, due to the use of proven components and pre-planning, while reducing project lead times and the overall risk for the customer.
