SPECIAL ISSUE ON SELECTED PAPERS FROM THE SIXTH INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON ALGORITHMS AND COMPUTATION, WALCOM 2012

摘要

This special issue of Discrete Mathematics, Algorithms and Applications (DMAA) includes full journal versions of six papers selected from the papers presented at the Sixth International Workshop on Algorithms and Computation (WALCOM 2012) held in Dhaka, Bangladesh during February 15-17, 2012. Only a few papers among the highly-ranked ones were invited for the special issue based on their merits and relevance to DMAA. The invited papers have gone through the standard referee process of DMAA to meet high publication requirements. The special issue is a nice collection of the advances and trends of research in Discrete Mathematics, Algorithms and their Applications, including encoding-decoding and counting of graphs, study of special graph classes, comparing and aggregating partial orders, hereditary problems in reoptimization settings and advanced data structures.
