I can really relate to the article "The Power of Support" [Feb. '11, p. 32] about actor Paul Sorvino and his daughter, Mira. My father and I both have diabetes, and we're both on insulin pumps. We discuss our diet, exercise, doctors' appointments, and healthy lifestyle in general. Our AlCs are consistently under 7. Our father-daughter support system is awesome and very beneficial to our successful diabetes management.I also gave my father a gift subscription to Diabetes Forecast for the holidays. Now we really have a lot to talk about. Keep up the great work!
