Guangxi Laibin plans primary Al & sheet, strip project

摘要

A feasibility study on a combined project of primary aluminum and aluminum sheet and strip has recently passed exam by relevant expert group in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, source close to the situation said. The project includes construction of a 250,000tpy aluminum smelter and a 250,000tpy aluminum sheet and strip plant, both at Laibin county, Guangxi. According to the plan, all the primary aluminum in liquid will be directly used to production of aluminum sheet and strip, which can largely enhance the competitiveness of the combined project.
