Cairo-based OCI to sell Beaumont, TX chemicals plant

Cairo-based Qrascom Construction Industries (OCI) plans to sell a minority stake in its chemicals project in Beaumont, TX, Plaits reported. The stake will be sold as part of US$480 million initial public offering (IPO) to be offered in the second half of this year. The funds from the IPO will be used to repay debt and finance a debottlenecking project at the plant.
