Cheniere secures debt financing for Sabine Pass train 5, begins construction

Cheniere Energy announced that it has engaged with 18 financial institutions to arrange $5.8 billion in debt facilities, including about $4.6 billion of credit facilities and about $1.2 billion in a revolving credit facility in order to secure financing for the construction of its fifth train from its Sabine Pass LNG liquefaction plant.
