Despite delays for many infrastructure projects around the world, Chevron has awarded more than $800 million in contracts for the Gorgon LNG project this year and has seen its Pluto project, already under construction, proceed smoothly. A Bloomberg report on June 19 said the latest contract for Gorgon was for tlie construction village. A joint venture including Decmil Pty., Leigh ton Holdings Ltd.'s Thiess unit and Kentz Pty. won the award to build a 3,300-bed construction village on Barrow Island.
