Inpex to sell 10 percent stake in Abadi LNG project

The venture's contract with the Indonesian government contains a provision to sell a 10 percent stake to a company designated by local governments. Inpex holds a 60 percent stake in the project. The company is considering selling smaller shares to companies that will potentially buy LNG from the project, said Masahiro Murayama, a company director. Shell holds a 30 percent stake in the project.
