BG explores Prince Rupert export facility

Canada's Prince Rupert Port Authority and United Kindom-based BG Group are exploring LNG exports from Prince Rupert in Canada, TbeNorthernView.com reported Feb. 7. "We have an agreement signed to provide them a site and to secure that site to examine the suitability of it and the feasibility of the facility," said Shaun Stevenson, vice-president of marketing and business development for the port. The U.K. company is looking at a 200-acre section of land on the Ridley industrial development site.
