Shell to fuel 'Canadian Green Corridor' by 3Q2012

Shell will launch it's first LNG fuel project in North America this March, Truck News re- ported Feb. 9. The project envisions the construction of a 0.3-million-tonne-per-year liquefaction plant by 2013 at its Jumping Pound gas processing facility located about 33 kilometers west of Calgary. The LNG would then be supplied to Shell Flying J travel plazas along the "Canadian Green Corridor," an area stretching from Ft. McMurray to Calgary and on to Vancouver. Until then, LNG will be supplied to the Shell Flying J truck stops via third-party supply agreements.
