Clough, Transfield awarded compression facilities contract for QCLNG

Clough Limited, together with 50/50 joint venture partner Transfield Services, has been awarded a construction contract as part of QGC Pty Limited's Queensland Curtis Liquefied Natural Gas (QCLNG) Project. Stage one work, worth an estimated value of US$81.37 million, commences in October 2012 and includes early site civil works and front end planning work for the construction phase of compression facilities in central Queensland. On completion of this phase, and subject to mutual agreement between the JV and QGC, die contract will extend to the construction and fabrication of eight field compression stations and two central processing plants. This second phase is expected to commence in early 2013 and complete in mid-2014.
