The Prime Minister and President of Armenia met with Gazprom CEO Aleksei.Miller on May 19 to discuss natural gas price escalation on imports,as reported by Radio Free Europe.In 2006,Gazprom doubled the price of natural gas to Armenia,as well as to its neighbors Georgia and Azerbaijan,from approximately 60 per thousand cubic meters(2.05/MMBtu)to 110 per thousand m3(3.76/MMBtu).
