Russian energy minister Alexander Novak is anticipating a bill to be submitted to parliament that would liberalize LNG exports beginning in 2014, Reuters reported. The report follows remarks from President Vladimir Putin earlier this month that indicated Russia would liberalize its exports in order to meet growing demand in Asia. The bill is in the process of being finalized and has been agreed to by cabinet ministers.
