The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) is set to supply all of the LNG required for the planned floating storage and regasification (FSRU) offshore Benin, Market-line reported. The company will also assist the FSRU's operator Gasol pk with the provision of the FSRU. The project involves the regasification of LNG and the supply of that gas to power and industrial customers in Benin, Togo and Ghana. The project allows SOCAR to build its presences in West Africa, the company said.
