Gasol proposes regasification plant for Benin and Togo

Gasol has revealed that it has struck an agreement for supply of gas into Benin and Togo, Proactive Investors reported. It has signed an agreement with COGAZ to supply Commu-naute Electrique du Benin, which is the electricity authority of both countries. Gasol ultimately hopes to harness gas from the Niger Delta area of Nigeria, but initially it will pursue a Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU).
