Feasibility Study for Ukrainian LNG Project Awarded

Spain-based Socoin Ingenieria y Construccion industrial (Socoin) Group has been awarded a feasibility-study contract for an LNG terminal in the Ukraine, Interfax-Ukraine reported on Sept. 16, citing a speech given by Vladyslav Kaskiv, chairman of the state agency for investment and national projectsmanagement. The final contract should be signed within two weeks.The ?285,000 (-US$393,000) study is slated for completion during the first quarter 2012. "We will get a strategic partnerin spring, who will be the investor and the major participant in the project," Kaskiv said.
