PNG LNG Pipeline Work Advancing

Construction of the two train, 6.6 million tonne per year PNG LNG export plant is advancing as construction of the 850 km feed-gas pipeline begins. The pipeline will transport associated gas from four oil offshore fields Kutubu, Agogo, Gobe and Moran. Work to clear the areas where the pipeline will lie has commenced, according to Pipelines International. Two firms are coordinating efforts: Spiecapag, which is building the onshore segments, and Saipem, which is constructing the offshore segments.
