Executives of BP, ConocoPhillips, ExxonMobil, and TransCanada have completed the concept selection phase for an Alaska LNG project. The pipeline would be one of the largest LNG projects in the world. As companies have been developing the project concept, Alaska Gov. Sean Pamell has undertaken significant outreach to overseas markets to highlight the comparative advances of Alaska LNG exports.
