On November 18,Flex LNG announced that it and partner Rift Oil have begun the process to select an LNG offtaker and integrated project partner for a floating liquefaction project offshore Papua New Guinea.This process is being initiated sooner than expected due to the announcement on November 14 that the potential gas reserves in Rifts PPL 235 have increased significantly compared to previous estimates.The increase could mean that the project could begin operations sooner and for could sustain operations longer than previously thought.
