The Design Council (2014, pp. 23-25) reports that "design can add value to any [business] organization" in terms of "attracting customers, branding, work environment and culture." Design has been highlighted as a contributor to firms' strategic goals. In addition, along with the emergence of design thinking, a role of design has begun to cross business-dominant boundaries and solve problems that corporations encounter.
