2nd Anben unit to list in HK 'within year'

Anben Iron and Steel Group will list a wholly-owned subsidiary in Hong Kong "before the end of this year", said the mayor of Anshan, where the company is based. Angang Group New Iron and Steel Co (Xin Gangtie) will be the second of the company's units to be floated overseas. The move of the company reflects its "continuous" efforts at restructuring itself and building a modern corporation, Mayor Zhang Jiehui told reporters at the sideline of an investment symposium in Hong Kong. He did not provide any other details of the listing, but stressed that "the company will further open up to embrace overseas funds and the financial' market".
