A hollow fibre membrane contactor is one of the most promising technologies for post-combustion carbon dioxide(CO_2)capture.Polymeric membranes were usually employed as the barriers to separate gas phase from liquid phase in most of the membrane contactor studies.However,it was found that such polymeric membranes were susceptible to chemical and thermal attacks and showed morphological changes after contacting with solvents.These changes consequently deteriorated the contactor performance because of the membrane wetting.
