The paramedian forehead flap (PFF) is based on the right supratrochlear artery and is a reliable . technique for the reconstruction of large nasal defects. The major disadvantages of the PFF are that it requires a two-stage procedure and leaves scars at donor site or vertical scars on the forehead. Conventionally, when the donor defect on the forehead is so large that it cannot be closed primarily, the defect is left to heal by secondary intention. This prolongs the healing and leads to wound contracture and hypertrophic scarring. Herein we describe a novel method for closing large donor defects for a PFF.
