MIG brazing of galvanised plates in automotive industry

摘要

Comparison of technological and metallurgical aspects of MIG welding and MIG brazing of galvanised plates was outlined. The effect of shielding atmosphere and torch positioning on brazing process as well as the effect of the character of metal transfer to the surface and joint vicinity were studied. Mechanical properties of welded and brazed joints were compared. Application in SKODA AUTO, Mlada Boleslav was outlined.
