On selection of welding consumables for manual arc welding of low-alloy CrMo creep resistant steels

摘要

The results of creep resistance assessment of electrode weld metals for manual arc welding of low-alloy creep resistant steels type 0.5Mo, 0.5Cr-0.5Mo, 1Cr-0.5Mo, 0.5Cr-1Mo and 2.25Cr-1Mo are outlined. The effect of chemical composition and heat treatment of long-term creep resistance of weld metal is analysed. Recommended application of evaluated electrodes for welding single types of CrMo creep resistant steels is described.
