摘要

The effect of weld bead deposition and groove geometry on level of reactive/global residual stresses and wide range of properties of low - alloy creep resistant T24 steel welds have been evaluated employing the conventional and "low stress" welding. Three types of T24 stick electrodes have been widely tested. The influence of different restrain level on weld metal impact properties at +20℃ and short term cross weld creep test have been studied. Local residual stresses have been identified by neutron diffraction and the hole drilling methods for these welds.
