(Reuters) - Canadian spot natural gas rose to its highest price in six weeks on Wednesday as forecasts called for warmer temperatures this weekend and as domestic supplies remained tight. Spot gas at the AECO storage hub in southeastern Alberta averaged $3.19 a gigajoule, up 10 Canadian cents. That was its highest level since June 25. Deals were done between $3.14 and $3.24 a gigajoule. Alberta wholesale gas has climbed 16% since late last week as western markets sweltered in a heat wave, a leg of Alberta's main pipeline network suffered an outage and more signs of economic improvement emerged.
