High Cost, Over-Reliance On Fossil Fuels Key Challenges For Canada, Poll Finds

Canadians feel Canada's energy sector is important to the economy, says an advisor with the Canadian Centre of Energy Information, which commissioned a recent survey of people's energy perceptions.More than nine in 10 (92%) believe that it is either "very" (61%) or "somewhat" (31%) important, the poll has found. Most (82%) feel it is important for Canada to be the world's leader in energy while 69% believe it already is.
