摘要

The high-efficient flux-cored wire welding method was outlined. It was compared with manual welding with coated electrode. The increase of welding output was achieved by almost 100 percent. High quality of weld metal was proved. FCW welding was compared with MIG/MAG welding. Higher impact toughness, better quality of weld metal, higher deposition rate and perfect application on robotic and automated workplaces were achieved.The tests of mechanical properties and hardness tests together with metallographic examination have proved that the welded joints fabricated by flux-cored wires exhibit good metallographic and mechanical properties. Good structural and technological properties of welded joints were outlined. The application of flux-cored wires especially in automated and robotic production was extended.
