A younger view: Dealing With Goat Difficulties Prepares Young Farmer for the Future

Hi, my name is Nate. I am 11 years old and in sixth grade. I moved to Rhode Island two years ago and I soon became interested in farming. We had gardens before, but never any livestock. I did some research and went to a few farms and found out that the farmers that have different types of animals liked goats the most. At the end of our first year, I got my four goats: Snow White, Bell, George, and Oscar. George and Bell are Toggenburgs, Snow White is a Saanen, and Oscar is part Saanen and Alpine. Wealso got some chickens.
