A new synonymy in the genus Acledra Signoret, 1864 (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Pentatomidae)

Pentatomidae is one of the largest families within the Heteroptera, with about 4100 species classified in 760 genera (Schuh & Slater 1995). There are phytophagous and predaceous species in Pentatomidae, and many of those have economic importance (Schaefer & Panizzi 2000). Acledra Signoret, 1864 is a Pentatominae genus which contains 12 valid species distributed in South America (Faundez & Verdejo 2009). Several Acledra species are general phytophages and feed in crops, having an economic importance.
