Evaluation and quality standards of agricultural software products -- an user oriented approach.

Software products increasingly determine the economic success of firms and farms. To facilitate software evaluation, clusters of evaluation criteria are identified for agricultural software products. The clusters discussed are: information, performance, functionality, compatibility, presentation, and overall impression. The clusters are explained in detail and their application is demonstrated and explained using an example. The clusters should be given different weights depending on the characteristics of the enterprise where the software will be applied.
