Just outside Grasse, the world's historic fragrance capital, Arcade Beauty is inaugurating a new factory for its Carestia business, and putting its activity dedicated to fragrance strips, sample packs and perfumed products under one roof. Carestia was founded as a small print workshop in 1883 by the family of the same name, and was reputed for its savoir-faire in lithography. It helped historic perfumers to develop their business thanks to its innovative approach, offering posters, labels, brochures and folding boxes. Three generations later, Carestia presented its idea for the blotter to its customers. The largest brands went crazy for this new marketing approach that allowed the consumer to test the fragrance then and there and keep a memento of the moment. In 2013, Carestia became part of Arcade Marketing, which subsequently merged with Bioplan in 2014 to become Arcade Beauty.
