Albemarle has released a sulfur oxide (SOJ reduction additive called SOxMAS-TER; it is claimed to provide unique features that are not available from conventional additives:Superior stability under commercial fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) conditions Improved regenerability Lower sensitivity to the availability of O2 in the regenerator (resulting in better performance in partial-burn units).
