US refiners are set to break the 10% "blend wall" for using ethanol in gasoline, but downstream professionals are certainly not happy about it. Poll findings. In a recent poll conducted on Hydrocarbon Processing.com, 81% of respondents said they did not agree with the US Environmental Protection Agency's (EPAs) decision to break the 10% "blend wall" for ethanol. The other 19% said they agreed.
