A recent survey from Nexant Chem Systems (www.nexant.com) takes a look at technologies used to generate mixtures of carbon monoxide and hydrogen.Commonly referred to as synthesis gas or syngas,these are important intermediate feedstocks for producing large-volume chemicals such as methanol,ammonia,synthetic hydrocarbon liquids and hydrogen.
