CiDRA Corporation claims to have developed a breakthrough in process measurement technology:the first True Liquid Flow and Entrained Gas Monitoring System.By installing nonintrusively on existing process lines,the SONARtrac clamp-on system allows online real-time measurement of the volumetric flow and amount of entrained air/gas present in any liquid,continuous-phase process fluid (Fig.2).
