摘要

Riverford OrganicVegetables in Devon is experiencing a boom in trade. In the past 20 years, the grower has cultivated a customer base of around 100,000. Between 2006 and 2007, sales of organic produce through its home-delivery vegetable box scheme soared by 80 per cent compared with the previous year. As a result of its success, the company plans to expand its service to the West Midlands and Kent and is offering technical and marketing support to farmers converting to organic produce.
