Despite studying product engineering at college, third generation farmer Philip Acock always knew he would move into thefamily apple-growing and processing business at Fourayes farm, Sitting-bourne, Kent. Working either on the farm or factory during school holidays before he officially joined the business at 22, Acock says there isn't a job or process carried out on sitethat he hasn't done himself, and early on he developed a good head for running the business.
