摘要

In the paper we present the teachers' professional development programme for implementation of student support system e-tutor. E-tutor is a part of a more comprehensive faculty development programme. E-tutor was designed and implemented in order to raise the quality of study process and outcomes with the novices' support and career development and planing support system. Teachers at the faculty are predominantly identified with its traditional academic role in which approaches to teaching are aligned with the transmissive function. The facilitative role of the teacher is neglected. The precondition for quality teaching is organisational culture which support facilitative role of teachers and it is performed through approaches to teaching aligned with transformative model of teaching. The aim and structure of study support system is presented. To implement ICT assisted support system is a necessity because of flexibility in time and place, multidirectional communication patterns, potentials for forming community and specifics of computer mediated communication. The qualitative research methodology was used for identification of key factors for effective and efficient tutoring system when developing teachers' professional development programme.
