RESIDENT Ronald Reagan and other leaders liked to invoke a passage from the fifth chapter of the Gospel of Matthew that states, "You are the light of the world — like a city on a mountain, glowing in the night for all to see." The passage in the Bible relates to how Christians should not be afraid to share the good news they have received and share it with others. It is this symbolism that President Reagan and others liked to invoke when using the passage to inspire Americans to take the opportunityto be an example for the world and not be afraid to promote what is good and just. It is a passage that can also inspire all of us in the dairy industry to do our absolute best in running our businesses and then educating others about the "best practices" that we use.
