How quickly has 2012 gone? I have to say, that I'm not completely sorry, having been robbed of a summer and flooded out more times than I managed a hot dinner! Sunshine did break through in a late weekend in May, when 14 NEHBA members crossed the Irish Sea to Southern Ireland and visited seven farmers. The weather was absolutely glorious _ suncream was a must and I have to say I did get burnt (the only time I did in 2012). It was very easy to enjoy the cattle, strolling through fields of cows and calves and young stock, and enjoying refreshments at the end. The Irish hospitality was second to none and we all had a fabulous time. Larry Feeny was very helpful and aided our logistical planning with ease. Pictures of the cattle can be seen on our website www. nehba.org, on the gallery page.
