Better efficiency, fuel savings, and lower emissions

Heat treaters continue to look for better efficiency, fuel savings, and lower emissions, and increased production. Eclipse has developed a number of products to address these issues including burners and accessory equipment and offers technical expertise to solve heat-treating-re-lated problems. The SER AutoRecupe, an indirect fired self-recuperative radiant tube burner, has the burner and integral recuperator coaxially mounted inside a radiant tube, which efficiently transfers heat from the burner exhaust gases to the burner combustion air supply providing high preheat temperatures. Metallic or silicon-carbide (SiC) tubes are available for furnace temperatures ranging from 1000 to 1260 deg C (1830 to 2300 deg F), and are suitable for use where high efficiency, low emissions and superior temperature uniformity are essential to the process.
