STEEL CITY HOSTS HEAT TREATERS

The ASM Heat Treating Society (HTS), an affiliate society of ASM International, will hold its 2005 conference and exposition at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh September 26-28. "America's No. 1 heat treating event" takes place alongside the Materials Science & Technology (MS&T) Conference and Exhibition, "the largest technical event for materials science and engineering." MS&T is organized by ASM International, American Ceramic Society (ACerS), American Welding Society (AWS), Association for Iron & Steel Technology (AIST), and The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS). Heat Treating Progress, the Official Voice of the ASM Heat Treating Society, is the Official Publication of the HTS Conference/Expo. Technology on display: This article provides an armchair look at the new and improved products and services to be displayed by most of the HTS Expo's nearly 200 exhibitors.
