摘要

An effect of medium rarefaction on heat fluxes manifests itself first of all in hypersonic flows past slender bodies. In the present paper, a hypersonic flow past a plane plate of length L with a flat transverse barrier of height H at Reynolds numbers Re{sub}∞≤1.5·10{sup}4 and a zero angle of attack is studied by the Monte Carlo method of direct statistical modeling. The data characterizing specific features of preseparation and separation zones of the flow depending on the Mach number M{sub}∞, the value of the temperature factor t{sub}W = T{sub}W/T{sub}0, relative height of the barrier h* = H/L, and the ratio of specific heat capacities γ are obtained.
