摘要

The owner of a tug boat which sank in the river Clyde when a towing operation went wrong has landed one of the highest fines ever levied under the Health and Safety at Work Act. Svitzer Marine was fined 1.7 million pounds for failing to protect four crew after the Flying Phantom capsized in 2007.
