摘要

A CEILING contractor has been prosecuted by the HSE after a worker suffered a brain haemorrhage when he fell two metres from an unsafe scaffold tower. CME Ceilings had been hired to install a suspended ceiling at Croxteth Sports and Wellbeing Centre in Liverpool. The firm had intended to use a scissor lift to reach the ceiling but did not arrange for the equipment to be delivered to the site, so used a mobile elevated work platform (MEWP) instead.
