摘要

A CONSTRUCTION firm has been fined 6,000 pounds after two workers were injured from plunging into a hotel basement when the staircase they were dismantling collapsed beneath them. Paul Irvine and Frank Dever were demolishing a stone staircase at the former Priory House Hotel in Largs, Ayrshire, when the pair fell almost four metres into the basement below and were hit by falling debris.
