THE FIRE safety toolkit from PS Associates aims to help you meet the requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 by aiding fire risk assessment, employee fire safety training and record keeping. For ?10 (including postage) you receive a CD containing some Microsoft PowerPoint presentations, weblinks and Word documents, and a DVD which draws some of the PowerPoint presentations into a video. The presentations vary in length, and many have an audio commentary. Most of the slides are clearly set out, with large titles. While the slides are good value for money, they are not of a standard I would use in a training course, as they rely heavily on bullet points, with few illustrations. A rather confused diagram of a risk assessment cycle is included, but it would have been easier to understand if PowerPoint's animation function had been used to build it element by element.
