The Dorset branch of IIRSM was formed in the last quarter of 2012. Originally set up by Karen Hoskins, who has helped to launch many of the IIRSM branches over the previous two years, she quickly managed to recruit a strong executive committee, to which she continues to provide support and guidance. Nick Waterhouse MIIRSM, chair of the branch, has been a member of the institute since 1993. "The support provided by IIRSM over the past 21 years has enabled me to progress to the position of group HSE manager for one of the largest magazine printers in the UK," he tells the IIRSM Newsletter.
